I've been wondering for some time... I just MUST ask, does your username here come from Telumehtar? Like Quenya for Warrior of the sky (what we know as Orion)? From Tolkien?

You and me brother.
Since a kid I've lusted after a 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24 spider in white with red leather interior.
They had two on carsandclassic.co.uk in blue and one in silver, but all thats available is B20 GTs and the odd B21.
One day she will be mine. I say one day because they go for unicorn money, nowhere near 250GT money, but still enough to seriously dent your wallet.
To quote an awesome film "unicorns I love them".

Indeed it does, it's a variation of Telumehtar.
And the meaning is correct.

I've had this B24 Spider model from Burago since I was 9 or so, it looks exactly like the one in the video, except it has different wheels.
... wish I had tons of money.

I've been using it for ages, I think I started using it as a name for some RPG charachters and then it stuck :D

I used Elessar (or variations of that name) for years myself. So I know the feeling :P

Like the announcer said, this car had quite a story... it was used in the first movie of Brigitte Bardot and later was owned by two famous Italian actors, now both 83 y.o: Antonella Lualdi e Franco Interlenghi, married since 1955 and now living in a retirement home, from where they sent a letter to the car show to confirm how the car was an important withness to the most beautiful moments of their life.

Many thanks Roberto. The story was really nice.
I have one question for you, not very related to this.
Do you know some good, well written, automotive-centred site like this one, but written in Italian? I've been meaning to read more in Italian, but I'm not keen on reading what virgilio.it and the like have to offer (that site seems to be the only thing all of my Italian professors think exists on the "Italian web").

I read many, but I like Autosprint because I was reading it on paper when I was a teen and made me like the automotive sports.

Nice, it looks like the most technical and motorsports-oriented of the bunch, I like it. Thanks for your help.
